One of the main reasons we crave sugar is because of low adrenal function.
So then what are the adrenals and where are they?

The adrenals are hormone glands that sit above the kidneys.

What do they do?

•    One of the jobs of the adrenals is to release epinephrine, or as you may know it, adrenaline. This is an energy provider.

The other day my sister bought some honey that came in a cute little bear shaped bottle. Sounds innocent enough. The bottle said HONEY in big bold letters on the front right? Well when she looked a little closer she realised that in small letters underneath the big HONEY label were the words ‘Flavoured Syrup’!

What the…? I’d never heard of honey-flavoured syrup before then. That’s just ridiculous!

Who Wants Abs?

Nearly everyone who comes into the gym wanting a program has, amongst their list of ‘wants’, a flat stomach. Whether you can achieve a bazillion pack with gills up the side of your torso or not can depend on a number of factors including genetics. It is however possible for everyone to achieve a leaner, flatter looking stomach. 

If vanity is not your motivation then at least understand that it is that visceral fat (deep fat around the gut) that is the most dangerous fat as the more viscera...
